The Spotsylvania School Board has terminated “with cause” its contract with Mark Taylor, effective March 19, 2024.
The announcement was sent to the school community in an email late Wednesday afternoon.
Taylor has waived the School Board’s offer of a hearing, which the Board voted last week to extend to him. He is no longer receiving administrative pay.
The board will discuss next steps in a search for a new division superintendent at a special meeting to be held on Monday, March 25.
