Now a year into our publication, we’re excited to launch our Letters section. Herewith, everything you need to know to have your voice heard.
From the beginning, the Advance has been about putting readers first. We do that in a variety of ways – private face-to-face sit-downs, meetings with the editor (restarting in March), publishing a wide range of opinion pieces, public speaking events, and moderating debates to name just the most visible ways we spend time with those who read us.
But we want to do more …
Starting Sunday, February 18, we will begin running letters to the editor.
Here are the guidelines:
- Letters are capped at 500 words – 300 is preferred.
- Readers can submit up to two letters per month.
- When submitting, please provide us with your full name, city or county of residence, and a phone number that we can reach you at.
- Ad hominem attacks, offensive language, and personal insults will not be printed.
Once you’re set, simply paste your letter in an email and send it to [email protected], with the subject line “Letter to the Editor.”
We reserve the right to edit letters for style, grammar, and clarity. Also, letters become the property of FXBG Advance.
We look forward to hearing from you!
