Regular listeners of the New Dominion Podcast know how much fun Shaun Kenney, Cori Blanche, Megan Samples, and I have on the show. Perhaps our recording this past Wednesday, however, was the most fun of the year.
We spoke with Myriam Brown — executive director at Stafford Junction — who was able to provide toys and food for the program’s children this year, thanks in no small part to your incredible generosity.
We also spoke with Santa Claus — John Symonds — who regularly is the main attraction in the Fredericksburg Christmas parade. He also gives graciously of his time throughout the year.
These two individuals represent the best of America. They place others above self. Community above ideology. Mission above personal desire.
It’s a model for living and working that we at FXBG Advance strive to honor every day.
This year has been one for the books; 2024 promises even greater things for Fredericksburg’s hometown newspaper.
Thank you for supporting our work.
From all of us at FXBG Advance, we wish you a wonderful Christmas morning.
