Kevin Biondi serves as treasurer for the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail in King George County, a unique 16-mile privately owned hiking path following the old route of the Dahlgren Branch line, and shares his thoughts on how the Dahlgren Trail came to be, some of the politics surrounding rails-to-trails, the Tour d’Sheetz (it’s a thing!) and how park benches and poetry are good for the soul.
